A hypothesis on elementary particles.

I think elementary particles are like bubbles in the space. If you keep shooting them with higher and higher energies, they will keep breaking into smaller and smaller particles.

Still no mass will be found because as I have stated earlier that mass is nothing but space taken by these bubbles (particles).

May be neutron stars and black holes are nothing but a giant unified bubbles where as other objects like stars and planets are only a big bunch of small bubbles.

I still need to learn a lot before I could theorise any of these hypothesis but I believe this can answer many unanswered questions.

Faster than light!

For most of the physicists, it is hard to conceive the idea of anything being faster than light. The problem lies in the rejection of the need for a medium for light to travel. Einstein thought that any medium would eventually slow the light down. Einstein could not conceive and idea of medium which is not a physical matter.

He said that space has curves in General Theory of Relativity but he never tried to join his special theory of relativity with it. If space can have curves then it can also have density. And if you consider the space as the medium of light then any change in the density of space will change the speed of light too.

Why light is (was) the fastest one?

Whatever we observe in the universe is through electromagnetic waves. That is the reason why, whatever moves faster than light can not (or real hard to) be observed. Till now there were many phenomenon in QED which were explained based on events happening backward in time. I believe that all those are nothing but particles moving faster than light. That is why we observe the outcome of the event before we could observe the start of the event itself. I always feel that we should keep it simple.

Theories that need to be unified.

Space can unify many theories but to accomplish that we need to understand that space is not void.

There are many theories and facts which seem to be different but really very tightly connected. I am enlisting them here for future reference:
  1. Light is affected by the geometry of space (gravity).
  2. Gravity is proportional to the mass of the matter.
  3. Mass is an unknown property. We are only expecting the Higgs to be found at LHC. But, if I am not going in wrong direction then we will never find Higgs. See: Higgs Boson

A not so widely known fact about 'Space'

Any volume of space containing no particle of matter, is still not empty. Even the absolute vacuum has a pressure measure of zero but in universe there are places which have negative pressure.

This proves that even when there is no matter available, we can not call it empty and thus space is not empty but filled with something which is the origin (zero) of the frame of reference for all the matter (not for dark matter). This is why we think that space is empty while the reality is that, it is not.

Space vs Space

Can we be sure that the space inside atom (between electrons and nucleus) and the space outside the atom has same characteristics? My hypothesis is that the space has something which helps electromagnetism work. But electrons makes a kind of shield around nucleus which disables the electromagnetic effects inside the atom.

This can explain why positively charges protons never repulse.

Medium of Light

There is no luminiferous aether but that doesn't mean that space is empty. It is made up something which provides medium to light. Einstein says any such things would slow down the light. Yes it is slowing down the light that is why light is limited to 3,00,000 Km/s.

Speed of a wave depends on the properties of its medium. Space is determining the speed of light and thus the scale of time that is why there is a sequence of events in the universe. In the absence of this limit to the speed of light, all events would have happened instantaneously.

Mass Space Equivalence

Let's take a hypothetical modal of the universe. In this modal we have two analogies:
  1. Water is analogous to the space in real world.
  2. Bubbles of water vapor analogous to the matter in the real world.
Now when water vapor will change into water; only the energy, being released; will be measurable because we have no way to measure space(water in this case). Nobody will say that water vapor (matter) is converting into water (space). People will say that water vapor (matter) is converting into energy.

Now let's talk about the real world. Same as the above example, the space is intangible to us, so when mass converts into space; we only see the energy getting released and thus we say that mass is convertible into energy.

Currently this is only my hypothesis, I want to research on this, if I could get a chance.

Relativity of Space

Perfect vacuum is just the origin of our reference frame of space. It is not the absolute zero. It means that space can be negative too. At least to some extent if not to the negative infinitive.

Higgs Boson

Mass is nothing but the space taken by the fundamental particles. So! there is no need to introduce another type of boson (Higgs Boson).
